Our Rector reviews Taif University on behalf of NCAAA (June 28, 2019)
From 1-4 July 2019, Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Bıçak participated in a panel of international audit experts, which reviewed Taif University on behalf of the Saudi Arabian National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA).
Dr. Naser Sarhan chaired the four-day accreditation session with an international panel of experts, including Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Bıçak, Prof. Dr. Peter John Hodson of the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), Dr. Cheryl Lee Crosthwaite of Victoria University in Australia, Prof. Dr. Somaya Hosny of Suez Canal University in Egypt, Prof. Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou of Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University of Algeria and Prof. Dr. Ali Saeed Al-Qahtani from the King Khalid University of Saudi Arabia.
The University of Taif, which was reviewed in accordance with the standards, procedures, and principles of the Saudi Arabian National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, has 50 thousand students in 75 programs at 3 Auxiliary Campuses next to the Main Campus.
Our Rector evaluated Taif University’s Strategic Plan, checked the consistency of the mission of the Strategic Plan and its objectives, and determined whether the annual performance targets have been met and how the Strategic Plan is being implemented by academic and administrative units.
