How Grades Are Applied
Student academic performance is assessed in accordance with the University's applicable academic regulations.
Grades of A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, and C indicate successful completion of a credit-bearing course.
Grades of C-, D+, and D represent a conditional pass. Students receiving these grades are considered successful where their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is at least 2.00.
Grades of D- and F indicate failure and normally require the student to repeat the course.
An NG (No Grade) is awarded where a student does not fulfil the attendance and/or participation requirements necessary for course assessment. NG is considered a failing grade.
For non-credit courses, S indicates satisfactory completion and U indicates unsatisfactory completion.
An I (Incomplete) grade may be awarded where a student is unable to complete an examination or another required course component for a documented and acceptable reason. The outstanding requirement must be completed within the period specified by University regulations.
A W grade indicates withdrawal from a course.
