The graduates of International Trade and Business program are in great demand in the process of globalization. Therefore, the program designed to educate international trade and business specialists with a global perspective. The curriculum was developed with an interdisciplinary perspective provides students a strong foundation in business administration, economics, finance, international commerce, and marketing. The graduates of the Program are valued very highly in the market, because many businesses in the region are planning to cooperate with foreign firms. Students who have been exposed to a multicultural environment are equipped with a comprehensive set of skills that will enable them to work as specialists and managers in national and international businesses, development and finance organizations, and scientific research institutes.
The primary goal of the undergraduate program in International Relations is to educate skilled practitioners in the fields of international relations and international law. The program prepares students for active participation in local and international politics, as well as a solid understanding of the social, economic, and psychological dynamics at the heart of political decision-making.
Those graduating from the undergraduate program in International Relations are expected to carry on one the following career paths.
1. Consular and/or legal officer in embassies and foreign ministries of their respective countries
2. Advisor to legal teams in issues related to international law
3. Advisor to international governmental and non-governmental organizations
4. Policy analysts in think tanks
5. Research Fellows in research centers
6. Advisor to parliamentarians and political parties
Students are supposed to be able to carry on the following tasks after graduation.
1. Describe the major theories of international relations.
2. Use the theoretical approaches to international relations to interpret and predict
the behavior of international actors.
3. Describe and explain the societal, cultural, historical, linguistic, and ideological aspects of a particular region.
4. Critically analyze the complex interrelationship between nations, individuals and societies
5. Employ social scientific methods to adopt research on different aspects of international relations
6. Integrate multi-disciplinary approaches to the study of international relations.
7. Describe and explain the structure and the role of different actors in international relations
8. Make logically coherent arguments on the topics related to international relations
9. Write grammatically correct and logically organized essays and papers.
