Rauf Denktaş University (RDU), which started its educational activities in the 2018-2019 academic year and has only been 2 years since, has successfully completed the supervising process of the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), which is one of the leading respected accreditation institutions in Germany. RDU became the first university to go through an international inspection process in just two years since it started its education and training activities among the higher education institutions operating in the Higher Education Field of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and it broke new ground.
After the first stage of the inspection, the Self-Assessment Report and other supporting documents were submitted to FIBAA in December (2019) and positively evaluated, the second stage Onsite Visit and Interview with University Officials were planned on 13-14 March 2020. However, the said second phase was postponed to 2-3 November 2020 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and was completed with meetings held over the Zoom Platform.
