Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, and our Board of Trustees visited President Ersin Tatar.
During the meeting, President Ersin Tatar expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation and emphasized that Rauf Denktaş University is a significant educational institution that honors the name of the Founding President.
President Ersin Tatar highlighted that there are students from 144 different countries in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which serves as a great means of promotion for the country. He stressed the importance of both quality students and quality education, stating that significant efforts are being made to institutionalize and solidify the higher education sector for the future of the TRNC.
Emphasizing that the TRNC has now become an “island of education,” President Tatar noted that the sector plays a key role as the driving force of the economy. He extended his gratitude to all those who work tirelessly and contribute to enhancing the quality of education in this vital sector and wished them success in their endeavors.
Rauf Denktaş University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, provided President Tatar with information about the ongoing projects and activities of the university, stating that they will continue their efforts in a manner befitting the university’s distinguished name.
