Zorlu Töre, President of the Assembly of the Republic, visited Rauf Denktaş University (RDU) and met with the authorities. Töre met with RDU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Bıçak and the academic staff to get information about the university and celebrated the 24th of November Teachers’ Day. Taking the first word in the visit, RDU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Bıçak stated that they were very happy to host the Speaker of the Assembly Töre on Teachers’ Day. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Bıçak emphasized that they knew very well the love and respect that Parliament Speaker Töre felt for Founding President Rauf Denktaş, after whom the university was named, and emphasized that they always wanted to work in cooperation.
