RDU hosted National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
NANS president Mr. El Yakub S Abdullah and his team visited our University and had a very productive meeting with the Director of International Office Ms. Sabina Rajabova and Rector’s Advisor Prof. Dr. Danbala Danju.
We discussed important issues concerning the welfare of the Nigerian students, organization of the Nigerian Society at RDU, scholarship distribution to the successful students and extra-curricular activities provided to the students.
Ms. Rajabova explained to NANS that RDU follows a student centered policy attending all academic and social needs of their students. In this respect she explained the direct communication channels (special email address and open door policy), workshops on the effective use of Moodle platform and remedy classes as well as one-to-one tuition for those students who need academic support.
We agreed on the mutual cooperation and joint organization in the days ahead.
